1. Opening Prayer – Bill Newton
 
2. Pledge of Allegiance. Then we followed the Agenda of July 3, 2025. In addition to the agenda, the following were added:
 
3. Voter Fraud
 
     a.  Using Passports as an item of identification is a Federal Issue and needs to be changed on that level.
 
     b.  Allen Stevens stated in order to clean up Voter Rolls on a local level would require working with Heather Stevens and Christen Zabel.
 
     c.  Doug Moon talked about bringing back the “3 votes missed” and you are out. Allen stated it would be very simple to reengage your voter status.
 
     d.  Allen stated that the Election Board should have an attorney. Money is needed to do investigations of suspected voter fraud.
 
     e.  The Election Board needs written complaints.
 
4.  In addition to briefly going over Micha Beckwith’s message, Michael Fish introduced out MC2AG via a letter.
 
5.  LaPorte County Assessments / Property Taxes
 
     a.  Tom Giglio and Bill Newton briefly discussed the meeting they had with LaPorte County Auditor Michael Rosenbaum and Chief Deputy Assessor Stacey Sweitzer.
 
     b.  Tom and Bill requested an average of what Trail Creek – Michigan Township paid per resident vs what Trail Creek – Coolspring Township paid for the last 4 years.
     
     c.  The Auditors office began our request when Rosenbaum and Sweitzer halted the  operation stating it would be too complicated as there are too many variables to consider.
     
     d.  At this point both Tom and Bill decided this is a no-win situation and would be a waste of time.
 
     e.  The decision was then made by Tom, Bill, Rosenbaum, and Sweitzer to approach our State Legislature regarding increasingly higher taxes place especially on fixed income, retired residences.
 
6.  We then discussed ways to approach our State Legislators
 
     a.  Frank Masley suggested we use our newly developed website, which he is developing.
 
     b.  This Website provides a wonderful central repository that we, and the Local Residence can used to contact State and Federal governmental officials.
 
     c.  MC2AG suggests individual contacts to our State and Federal Legislature as well as a corporate letter from the Michigan City Conservative Action Group.
 
7.  Group was reminded that we need to begin to get involved with the Michigan City Council, which meets the 1 st and 3 rd Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm.
 
8.  Group was also reminded to attend more meetings with the Michigan City School Board which meets the last Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm.
 
9.  The MC2AG was already discussed. The address of this website is: www.mc2ag.htmlplanet.com.
 
      a.  While on the subject of websites, Duane Miller requested help from Frank Masley to update the Republican Party LaPorte County website. Frank offered to take a look.
 
 
10. Golf Outing – Duane Miller discussed.
 
     a.  MC2AG agreed to sponsor a hole for $100
 
     b.  David Loscuito agreed to work with Frank Masley and make a MC2AG banner to be placed at the hole we are sponsoring.
 
11.  Additional Ideas
 
     a.  Chris Cleveland needs to raise $100k for State Legislator District 9 to run against Pat Boy.
 
     b.  Chris was given space on the Republican float to display his name and position he is running for during the 4 th of July Parade.
       
      c.    Joel Florek had not decided to primary Chris. Joel expects to make his decision by Labor Day.
 
     d.  Allen Stevens would like to see Joel run for LaPorte County Commissioner.
